Legalize

Marijuana, once called “The Gateway Drug,'' has slowly been proving its positive health and economic benefits, becoming one of the fastest growing industries in the country, but there is still a long way to go. Over the past 20 years, Marijuana has seen an increase in state legalization and the benefits have been encouraging. Marijuana has been legalized recreationally and or medically by over 31 states, over half of the United States, since 1996. Every state that has legalized marijuana has already begun to see the major benefits of legalization. However, the federal government refuses to fix the outdated regulations and laws that have been put in place.

Marijuana.

Federally, marijuana is still ranked as a Schedule I drug, meaning there is no medical value and is at higher risk for abuse. This classification makes marijuana extremely hard to be studied, but also leading to the highest possible punishment when convicted. In recent years, there has been a major push for the legalization of marijuana by the public with a record high of approval in 2020. With such high public approval ratings, multiple medical benefits, and the discreditation of marijuana as a gateway drug, it is time for the federal government to make a change.

At The Kiind we believe in fighting for freedom, while providing and promoting a future where cannabis can be grown and used safely in a medical and recreationally manner.

Why

Welcome to a journey through hemp's historical legacy, its current significance, and the promising future it holds. Hemp, deeply intertwined with human civilization over the ages, offers answers to modern environmental challenges. Today, as we grapple with pressing concerns, the resurgence of hemp is not just a choice but a necessity.

Throughout history, hemp served as a vital resource, from textiles and paper to medicine and ship rigging. In our era, its versatility endures. Hemp textiles provide an eco-friendly alternative for clothing, while hemp plastic, stronger and biodegradable, promises a greener future. Hempcrete, an eco-friendly building material, lowers carbon emissions and enhances energy efficiency in construction. Additionally, hemp-based medicines like CBD offer holistic healthcare solutions.

Our planet faces numerous environmental crises, from plastic pollution and carbon emissions to deforestation and soil degradation.

Hemp?

Conventional plastic production alone contributes massively to greenhouse gas emissions. Hemp emerges as a beacon of hope, offering sustainable alternatives. Hemp plastics are fully biodegradable, potentially easing the burden on our oceans. Hemp textiles reduce the reliance on water-intensive cotton farming. Hempcrete absorbs carbon emissions, making strides in the construction industry.

We must also acknowledge the recent legalization of hemp in 2018, a milestone unlocking doors for research and development. This marks a pivotal moment for innovation and exploration in hemp-related industries.
